Club Leadership
Shenoah Grove has been running the Austin RENC since 2004, with her husband Phill Grove offering New Investor Orientation classes. They prioritize providing real value to members, mostly through local speakers, and avoid promoting speakers who solely focus on selling products. Their strict speaker selection is based on their experience as real estate investors, aiming to foster an environment rich in valuable information. While the REIA generates some income, it’s primarily seen as a community builder rather than a profit center, with half of their local real estate deals stemming from REIA networking. The Groves are prominent local and national real estate figures, known for their practical approach to investing. Shenoah, a licensed REALTOR and Broker, and Phill, with a background in engineering, have participated in more than 1,200 real estate transactions totaling more than $200M (and still hold an 8 figure real estate portfolio). They reside in Austin, TX with their son.
Originally, I joined this group to generate more work for my foundation company. Ultimately, I learned so much about real estate investing, I have been doing more business in real estate than repair. In addition to the community of friends I have made here, there is comfort in knowing that I can always ask for help by posting questions online and will get competent solutions from some of the most active, seasoned investors in Central Texas. This is the best club in the State by far and would be a value at 3 times the price of membership!

As a novice investor, I found it very reassuring to discover an established community of experienced real estate professionals that were very willing to chat with me and discuss my goals and ideas about real estate. Moverover, they were perfectly willing to give me advice about what to do and how to approach the vocation to be a successful investor. Thank you RENC.
